Rabita Welfare Organization is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit earning organization which is in action in Pakistan. RWO is a registered organization under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agency Ordinance 1961. RWO initially started as a self-financed initiative works for the development of communities without the barrier of cost and creed, religion, and gender discrimination. RWO believes in achieving its goals through sharing and optimal utilization of communities available resources. RWO is struggling to promote awareness about common societal issues, social mobilization, and socio-economic development. It came into existence with the objectives of providing opportunities for education and training, health facilities and livestock development. We have a future vision for the establishment of Autism Center, Skill Development Centers especially for the rural areas women.

Social mobilization and communities awareness programs are priority areas of our organization. RWO arranged three community awareness programs with the partnership of SPO Multan for the issues of Flood Disasters, Dengue Virus Prevention and Unjustified Canal Water Distribution in Layyah. Hundreds of male and female participants attended these sessions and became well aware about the problems and their solutions. All the participants were also fully motivated to play their roles and responsibilities for tackling these issues and spread this knowledge to their localities.

RWO arranged social mobilization activities at different times and locations. These included the activity to aware the village women about the importance of Computerized National Identity Card and bringing them to NADRA wan for its processing. By these efforts many women were able to get their CNIC. We mobilized the local health authorities to provide the missing facilities at Thal Hospital Layyah and to provide the best health facilities to the patients.
